Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine Nutrition and Holistic Health Yoga, Meditation, Qigong and Other Classes
Elizabeth Venart, M.Ed., NCC, LPC Tracie Tyson Nichols, M.A., NCTMB Sarah O’Doherty, M.Ed, is a practitioner of TAT and EFT, self-healing techniques proven effective for reducing anxiety, pain and trauma. A graduate of Barbara Brennan School of Healing, Sarah offers energy healing sessions and spiritual mentoring. Elizabeth McNamara, MA, ADTR, LPC, NCC Lisa Gidholm, BS, CMT is a graduate of Uppsala University and Kroppsterapiskolan in Sweden, Deep Muscle Therapy School and the Upledger Institute. Her education along with 12 years of bodywork and teaching experience allows her to offer individualized care using multiple modalities that include Therapeutic massage, Cranio-sacral therapy and positional release. Patricia Sweeney RN, BSN, MAc., Board Certified Practitioner of Oriental Medicine, is a practitioner of Oriental Medicine since 1995. She is board-certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine. Her specialties include menopausal disorders, infertility, and facial rejuvenation. Karen Steinbrecher is a certified Senior Fitness Instructor who has been practicing Qi Gong for over 10 years. Qi Gong consists of slow, meditative, separate standing exercises used for overall wellbeing and improved health, reducing stress, increasing flexibility, and promoting a healthy flow of Qi [Chi - energy] throughout the body. Karen offers classes in this centuries-old practice on Thursdays at noon. Karen can be reached at mswings3@webtv.net. Karen DeLeonard is a certified Hatha Yoga Teacher, Holistic Health Nutritionist and Reiki Practitioner. Karen teaches a heart-centered, gentle yoga, focusing on breath work and mindful body movement to strengthen that all important Body, Mind, Spirit connection. Dean Solon is a longtime practitioner of meditation, and, in recent years, he has been teaching and encouraging meditation practice to others. Dean can be contacted at solon945@aol.com. Jodi Schwartz-Levy, CMT, MA, PhDc is a somatic psychotherapist who holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with a Specialization in Somatic Psychology. She offers somatic psychotherapy, groups, workshops, and somatic supervision. Amy Ragsdale, hB has had a jewelry design business in her home studio for the last twenty years. A business built on exquisite materials and impeccable handcraftsmanship, she is part of the next generation of style and lifestyle artists. Candice Colbert, B.A., CHHC, is a certified Holistic Health Counselor, certified FirstLine Therapy Practitioner, and certified Raw Foods Chef. Candice’s specialty encompasses addressing weight loss through the relationship between food and body and developing personalized dietary programs based on specific health concerns. Amy Connelly, founder of centered spaces, is a certified feng shui practitioner whose goal is to assist others in realizing the benefits of feng shui in a clear and tangible manner. She utilizes techniques drawn from multiple ‘schools’ of feng shui thought for an integrative approach to creating life-affirming spaces. Amy’s feng shui and space clearing techniques benefit both residential and commercial environments. |
