Career Guidance

Most of us have never had any training in how to look for work. We have someone critique a resume and send hundreds of them to all types of businesses. While we are not finding work, others are.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?

It is a series of techniques that are taught through workshops and individual sessions. Job Search Answers are available in such areas as resumes that reflect the applicant’s personal brand, cover letters that get interviews, career planning strategies that help seekers survive over the long haul, power searching techniques for the internet, using networking to find the hidden job markets, aptitude testing, time management, practice interviewingbudgeting and many others.

Contact Marc for his Free Career Development Menu.

It will help you focus on the job search areas that you would like to improve. He will work with you to determine what areas of training and support will help you land the job and career you want. To get a schedule of workshops email Marc at MJacobs296@GMail.com.

Men’s Issues

Every day men are called upon to meet their obligations to family and business. Some men find that although they find some degree of success in one or both arenas something is missing. Men’s Support Groups allow men to explore in confidence with other men the areas of themselves that lie below the surface. Whether a sense of wholeness is blocked by anger, sadness, loneliness, frustration, ambivalence or a host of other emotions, the support of other men can provide a sense of legitimate personal power. These self-help groups are based on the teachings and writings of Robert Bly, John Lee and Robert Moore. Groups meet on a regular basis, weekly, biweekly or monthly.

Business Mentoring

Business owners, executives, and managers entered their careers with dreams of success and personal satisfaction. The pressures of the day to day business world often lead to a disconnect between personal goals and the obligations of work lives.

While traditional counseling is helpful to some, many are looking for the expertise that can only be provided by a mentor who “Has Been There, Done That”. Marc has sat in the executive chair and made the hard decisions. He also knows the techniques necessary to manage and market a thriving business. By combining this practical background with his ability to offer support and personal development techniques, his calm mentoring can bring the synergy back to the executive’s life.
