CEU Credit Eligibility

All courses are eligible for continuing education credits for Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Professional Counselors. Additionally, continuing education credits are available for Massage & Bodywork Professionals for the program entitled An Integrative Approach to Working with Trauma Survivors, as co-facilitator Tracie Nichols is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB)  as a continuing education Approved Provider. The Focus of Our Programs

Our programs focus on promoting resiliency — for ourselves and the clients with whom we work. Instructors come from a variety of professional settings and backgrounds, including private practice, schools, domestic violence shelters, and inpatient treatment centers.

For more information on the instructors in our program, please review faculty profiles.

What distinguishes the programs at The Resiliency Center from other training opportunities?

Our professional development programs are unique in several ways. First, we limit the attendance at workshops to 15, giving every participant an opportunity to connect with the instructors and one another in an intimate and comfortable group setting.

Secondly, many of our programs focus on creative and innovative approaches to the work — introducing participants to therapeutic use of tools such as art, music, play, movement, and mindfulness.

Thirdly, our programs are developed with special attention to the multiple ways in which people learn and include a heavy emphasis on experiential learning.

Finally, the creation of resilient practitioners and a strong professional community is a central focus at The Resiliency Center.

As a result, we build in time for dialogue throughout every program and encourage participants to come early to share breakfast with us and to stay together as a group for lunch. Both meals are provided as part of your registration fee. A variety of healthy and vegetarian options are always included.
